Delete your TherapyWithAI account
Delete a TherapyWithAI account in the app or request deletion by email when you can no longer sign in.
Delete your account in the app
Sign in, open the menu, choose Account, select Delete account, review the warning, and confirm deletion.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@therapywithai.com from the address used for your account with the subject Account deletion request. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, or conversation text. Account ownership may need to be verified.
Data deleted with your account
- Account profile, authentication linkage, preferences, and onboarding choices
- Conversations, messages, saved responses, summaries, notes, timeline entries, insights, and reports
- Subscription entitlement and provider linkage not required for legal, payment, or security records
Data that may be retained
Limited payment, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and legal-compliance records may be retained where required or permitted. Information may remain temporarily in restricted backups and operational logs until those systems cycle.
Subscriptions and refunds
Account deletion does not automatically provide a refund. Manage active Apple App Store, Google Play, or PayPal subscriptions through that provider as well so future renewals are stopped under the provider’s rules.
