This page explains how the TherapyWithAI AI therapist handles account, conversation, payment, analytics, and marketing data.
Service operator and contact
TherapyWithAI.com operates the service. Send privacy requests or complaints to support@therapywithai.com, but do not email passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, or full conversations.
Information the service processes
- Account and authentication data
- Messages, voice or transcript data, saved responses, summaries, and conversation context
- Plan, PayPal subscription status, checkout events, and support history
- IP address, server logs, device/browser details, timestamps, errors, and security signals
- Information included in support, correction, deletion, or refund requests
Why information is used
Information is used to secure accounts, generate and save conversations, process subscriptions, send necessary messages, troubleshoot reliability and abuse, answer user requests, and meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligations.
AI and voice processing
OpenAI or Google may process prompts, relevant conversation context, microphone audio, generated audio, and transcripts for the selected text or voice feature. Voice processing starts only after a just-in-time notice. Closing voice mode stops the active connection and microphone capture, but previously transmitted data may remain under applicable retention rules.
Payments, authentication, and service providers
Amazon Web Services and database infrastructure operate the application. Google may provide sign-in profile fields when chosen. Email providers deliver service messages. PayPal handles checkout and payment details under its own terms; TherapyWithAI receives identifiers and status needed to support a plan.
Browser storage and public-page measurement
Sign-in, security, account features, checkout recovery, and language preferences use browser storage. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta load automatically on public marketing and editorial pages. Tapfiliate and GoAffPro load only for relevant referral or pricing visits. These measurement tags do not load on login, account, onboarding, or therapy and chat pages.
Retention, deletion, and device storage
Authentication, profile, chat selection, drafts, onboarding preferences, saved responses, and pending checkout recovery use tab-scoped storage and are cleared on sign-out or when the tab ends. Server-held account and conversation data may remain until deletion, subject to backup, security, fraud, tax, payment, and legal needs. Exact backup and log lifetimes are not promised.
Security, international use, and age
No online service can guarantee confidentiality or security. Providers may process information in other countries. Rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability. The account service is intended for adults aged 18 or older.

Users must keep their account secure and use the service lawfully. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.
